Our
director Harold Alvear has taught the Spanish
language to non-native speakers for over 17 years.
Born in Colombia, Harold received a law degree and
taught at the University of Santiago de Cali for
five years. After immigrating to Chicago, Harold
began teaching in different language institutes.Ten
years ago he started H.A. Language Instructors to
help students of all ages and skill levels learn his
beautiful native Spanish language.

US
Learn
Spanish with H.A. Language Instructors, a Chicago-based language institute offering classes in Spanish
taught by native speakers. For over 10 years, we
have brought expert language instruction to
students of all ages and skill levels. Our
clients are business professionals who need
industry-specific communication skills;
corporations of all sizes; and individuals who
want to improve their language skills. Whether
you are a new Spanish or want to become fluent, we can
help you learn the Spanish language.
Over the years we have developed an effective system
to learn Spanish
based on extensive use of dialogues supplemented with formal grammar lessons, visuals (including flash cards, cultural videos, and computer programs), and a textbook. In our classes you will develop your skills in expressing ideas, asking questions, and at the same time you will improve your ability to speak
the Spanish language and understand the English language with the rhythm and accent of native speakers.
