Programs: Adult
and Children
We have four basic levels of programming for adults: Beginning
(no experience with Spanish or English necessary), Intermediate,
Advanced, and Intensive. We also have a wonderful program
for children. All classes are broken down into 50-minute
units, which include 5-minute breaks between units. We have
found over the years that a minimum of four-six units per
week is best to retain material and progress, but we can
work with you to design a program that works best for you.
Lessons by Phone
and via Web-Camera
Have a busy schedule? These programs are for you.
Spanish and English Lessons by phone and via an Internet
web-camera are convenient, inexpensive and flexible methods
to learn a foreign language. You can choose the time and
day and a native speaker we will be waiting for your call.
Each lesson by phone is 30 minutes in duration and via an
Internet web-camera 40 minutes. Each program is tailored
to meet the language needs of the student, whether is it
is business terminology, education, recreation or travel.
Each package comes with a complimentary lesson/assessment.
The complimentary lesson gives the student a chance to meet
their instructor face to face to discuss their language
needs and goals and the instructor is able to diagnose the
student’s level. These lessons gives the student an opportunity
to practice their language skills through conversation with
a native speaker and to improve their skills with the customized
lessons created to meet their specific needs.

Beginner Level
no experience necessary
- learn
basic concepts: alphabet, time, numbers, colors,
seasons, days of the week, months, holidays,
and pronunciation
- learn
basic grammar: articles, nouns, adjectives,
adverbs, pronouns, prepositions, interjections,
and expressions
- learn
verb conjugations: present, simple past, and
future
- practice
basic conversation on simple topics: greetings,
travel, leisure, etc.
- write
simple compositions to practice your new vocabulary
- practice
simple reading comprehension
- talk
about vacations and discuss favorite activities
to seasons of the year
- talk
about your daily routine, life, family, office,
sports, order food, movies, etc.

Intermediate Level
must have knowledge of basic concepts covered in
Beginner Level
- learn
more verb tenses: subjunctive, indicative, etc.
- read
simple literature in Spanish, including short-stories
and news articles
- practice
conversation on extended range of topics
- write
structured compositions using subjunctive and
other tenses
- practice
reading comprehension
- talk
about food preferences, shopping and pass time
- talk
about an event in the past and future tense
- discuss
things in daily life, social and cultural activities,
about friends and family
- relationships

Advanced Level
must have knowledge of concepts covered in Beginner
and Intermediate Levels
- review
all verb tenses
- extend
vocabulary, including industry-specific language
- read
and discuss Spanish-language literature
- practice
conversation on complex topics, including politics,
current events, etc. with one or two
instructors.

advanced compositions
- describe,
things, people, jobs, friends, relatives and
living situations

about technology and future holds

about goals, business, new world, internet,

Intensive Level
(All-Spanish Immersion)

Along the way, children become exposed to the

skills through songs, books, games, and conversation.
Children in this age group will develop basic
written and oral communication skills.
- Ages
14-15: Children learn basic, intermediate, and
advanced language skills through dialogues and
conversation. An emphasis is put on grammar
and developing written and oral communication
skills using all verb tenses.
